Charles and Holly Ferguson opened Ferguson Funeral Home on February 14, 1994, with a heartfelt commitment to serving families with compassion and professionalism. Since then, Ferguson Funeral Home has earned the trust of countless families in Chickasha and the surrounding communities by providing exceptional care and support during life’s most difficult moments.

Charles was born and raised in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1973. After High School he followed in the family new car business that his grandfather started in 1936. In 1989, he sold that business and attended Mortuary Science College at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. He became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in May of 1993. He and his wife Holly opened Ferguson Funeral Home on February 14, 1994, where he remains active today. Charles has been active in the Chickasha community and many different organizations, serving as a City Councilman from 1985 until 1987 and Chickasha's Mayor from 1989 until 1992.
He is a member of the Chickasha of Commerce, the Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association, and the National Funeral Directors Association.
He and his lovely wife, Holly enjoy traveling and spending time at the lake.
Holly was born in Port Clinton, Ohio and graduated high school in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Holly and Charles opened Ferguson Funeral Home on February 14, 1994, where she remains active today. In the past Holly has been active in the Chickasha Community serving on the United Way Board, Women's Service Center, Junior Social Workers and an Ambassador of the Chickasha Chamber of Commerce. Holly is currently an active member in the local PEO Chapter C.R. Holly hosted many social events and the Centennial events for the community while her husband served as Mayor and City Councilman. She enjoys quilting, cross stitching, crocheting, painting and is an avid reader.Holly also enjoys traveling and spending time at the lake.
Chris was born and raised in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He attended grade school in Chickasha later moving to Medford, Oklahoma where he graduated from Medford High School in 1997. After graduation Chris moved back to Chickasha where he attended the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. In August 1999 Chris moved to Edmond, Oklahoma to attend the University of Central Oklahoma, majoring in Funeral Service. While in Edmond, he served his Funeral Director apprenticeship with Hahn-Cook/Street-Draper Funeral Home and was active in the Funeral Service fraternity Sigma Phi Sigma. Chris graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma on May 10, 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Degree major and Funeral Service.
While attending UCO, Chris was awarded the Carl Albert Intern Scholarship and was able to serve several semesters as an intern with the Oklahoma Funeral Board. After becoming a licensed Funeral Director in Embalmer on September 16, 2002 he continued to be employed with the Board and occasionally at Ferguson Funeral Home in Chickasha. In August 2021 Chris retired as the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Funeral Board after 22 years of service to the State of Oklahoma. While employed at the Board, Chris enjoyed crafting legislation and following the process of his work. He attributed many revisions of the Oklahoma Funeral Service Licensing Act and Rules of the Board. He also served on the Oklahoma Board of Medicallegal Investigations (Medical Examiner Office) in Oklahoma City for over 12 Years and as a Board member for the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards. Chris is currently employed at his family‘s funeral home in Chickasha where he enjoys working with his father Charles. Chris has served on several boards in Chickasha, including the Chickasha Public School Foundation; CASA Board Directors and the Chickasha City Council. In his free time he enjoys sailing and snow skiing with his family and friends.
Sue grew up and raised her two sons in the surrounding Chickasha area. She worked in the office and was the office manager at Chickasha Manufacturing for over 30 years. She attends Parkview Christian Church, enjoys reading and spending time with her loving family and friends.
Lacey is a lifelong resident of the Chickasha area. She loves to watch movies with her husband, read with her daughter, and talk current events with her son.
Angala was born and raised in Chickasha. She is active in her local church and enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her family. She exhibits great focus with an attention to detail and is a great asset to our company family.
After 35 years as a Physician Assistant, Bill joined Ferguson Funeral Home to help people navigate the process of prearranging their funeral plans. He believes that this is the other end of the spectrum…from birth to death…and a continuum of the healing arts that follows the natural progression in the circle of life. Bill is also an active member at St. Luke's Episcopal Church and with the Chickasha Community Theatre.
Adam Stephenson was born and raised in Texas and moved to Oklahoma in 2021. He began an exciting career with Ferguson Funeral Home "Helping others navigate through one of the most difficult times makes it all worthwhile ." Adam says. He is also involved in the Chickasha Community Theatre and he enjoys cooking in his spare time.
Rhonda grew up in Oilton, OK and raised her two children in Cushing. She then lived in Tulsa and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Transcription and Medical Coding from Tulsa Community College. Later in life, she moved to Chickasha to be closer to her daughter and granddaughters.
