Graveside services will be held for Zelma Johnson, 76, of Chickasha, at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in Anadarko’s Memory Lane Cemetery with Bill Ohl officiating.
Zelma Johnson was born in Cement, Oklahoma on March 31, 1938, to Jerry Lee Todd and Carrie Lee (Thompson) Todd. She died in Duncan, Oklahoma on Sunday, November 23, 2014.
Zelma grew up in Cement and attended schools in Cement and Anadarko. She was the youngest of six children.
On August 15, 1963, she married James Mozel Johnson.
Zelma enjoyed quilting and needle point. She loved growing her flowers and plants, and also liked baking and working her word search puzzles.
She was preceded in death by: both parents; one son, Ronnie Russell Johnson; two brothers, Willie Cherry and Ramond Nelson Todd; two sisters, Alma Nash and Olivia Todd.
She is survived by: daughter, Patricia Johnson of Chickasha; son, Luke Johnson of Lawton; brother, Hubert Todd of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Bobbie Parker of Radcliff, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Kelsey, Misty, Gary, Whitney, Xavier, Jonathan, and Destiny; six great-grandchildren; as well as many extended family and friends.
Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
