Funeral services for Winnie Mae Stills, 89, of Oklahoma City (previously of Amber), will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Harry Smith officiating.
Winnie Mae Stills was born November 13, 1924 in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, the daughter of Samuel Carrol Long and Della Mae (Carlton) Long. She died Sunday, July 13, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Winnie grew up in Hobart and graduated from Hobart High School. In 1942, she married Ray C. Payne and from this union three children, Ramon, Ragena, and John were born. Winnie and Ray made their home in Oklahoma City.
She married Tom Stills in November of 1990 and they made their home in Amber.
Winnie was a faithful member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and later a member of the Tuttle First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Payne; husband, Tom Stills; parents; sister, Lillian Mershon; brother, Hubert Long; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Payne.
Survivors include her son, Ramon Payne of Edmond; daughter, Ragena Brown of Norman; son, John Payne of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Zula Reece, Helen Bowker, and Wanda Wilburn; five grandchildren, David Payne, Aaron Payne, Rachel Payne, Julie Gray, Asa Brown; as well as six great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Hobart Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
