Funeral services for Willie Joe Bumpus III, 62, of Chickasha will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Morris officiating.
Willie Joe Bumpus III was born March 25, 1952 in Des Moines, Iowa to Willie Joe Bumpus Junior and Bessie (Diggs) Bumpus. He died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in Oklahoma City.
Willie was married to Linda Ward and was blessed with three sons.
He had been employed at Grady Memorial Hospital at one time, but dedicated most of his life to taking care of his children. He was a very spiritual man, who loved his boys with all his heart.
Willie was preceded in death by his wife, mother, and one brother.
Survivors include his sons, Chris, Ramo, and Emil Bumpus of Chickasha; his father, Willie Bumpus, Junior; sister, Christine Bumpus of Norman; as well as other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
