A funeral service for William “Billy” Marvin Brooks, 46, of Lindsay, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023 in the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, located in Rush Springs, with James Byrd officiating.
William Marvin Brooks was born August 16, 1976 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the son of Donald Eugene Brooks and Suzette (Brown) Fogle. He passed from this life on Monday, January 2, 2023 in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
Billy grew up in the Marlow/Rush Springs area, where he enjoyed playing football and graduated from Chickasha. He had a love for fishing, swimming, motorcycling, bicycling, dirt bikes, and working the watermelon fields with the reward of selling them with his Papa. He loved to collect sports memorabilia, was a die-hard OSU fan, and Billy loved his animals.
On February 14, 2008, he married Jennifer Nicole Zitterkob.
He worked as manager of Little Caesar’s and proudly received many awards for his accomplishments. He owned and operated B&S Auto in Chickasha and Lindsay. With a lifelong dream and passion, he finally succeeded in owning and operating Billy Boy’s Dispensary.
Billy was a man with a heart of gold and to know him was to love him. He could never meet a stranger and wouldn’t think twice about giving you the shirt off his back. He had the gift of seeing the best in people when others didn’t.
