William Arthur Lambrecht, Jr. was born June 9, 1931 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of William Arthur Lambrecht, Sr. and Alice Leslie (Corzine) Lambrecht. He passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Norman, Oklahoma.

Bill attended Chickasha High School through the 11th Grade, then entered Culver Military Academy in Indiana, graduating after the 2-year requirement. He then graduated from OU with a degree in geology. Because a bridge to Norman went out, he was the first man to attend OCW for a brief time during those college years. On December 20, 1952, Bill married Marilyn Joan Salter in Chickasha. They were married coming upon 67 years and spent many years traveling together in their motorhome.

Bill owned and operated Lambrecht Truck & Equipment, an International Harvester Dealership for around 20 years. He then went into partnership with his brother Tom in B&T Truck and Tractor, which to this day still has operations.

He was a member of Southern Oaks Church of Christ, participating in various church activities. Bill was on the Board of Directors of First National Bank for many years. He and Marilyn owned several motorhomes over the years, fixing them up and enjoying them, then moving on to another as a new project. They spent many winters in Pharr, Texas. He also loved trout fishing trips to Colorado.

He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife, Marilyn Joan Lambrecht, his daughter, Cheryl Jane (Lambrecht) Flowers and son-in-law, Phil Wheeler.

Survivors include daughter, Lynda (Lambrecht) Wheeler of Chickasha; brother, Tom Lambrecht and wife, Robyn of Norman; grandchildren, Will Wheeler and wife, Nicole of Chickasha, Seth Wheeler of Chickasha and Tracy Wheeler of California; and other extended family and friends.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
