Wes Baughman

A funeral service for Wesley Cavin Baughman, 65, formerly of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Daniel Edwards officiating.

Wesley Cavin Baughman was born July 31, 1959 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Harvey Lee Baughman and Bonnie Marie (Craig) Baughman. He passed from this life on Monday March 24, 2025 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.

Wes grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1977. He worked for a time at Dayton Tires, but most of his life he worked as a machinist for Badgett Corporation.

He married Melanie Miller and to this union his two children Chris and Stephanie were born.

Wes was a simple man and maintained a neat appearance. He enjoyed staying busy and was skilled at building and woodworking. He loved fishing and going to the Lake Texoma. He was helpful, kind and very proud of his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Loved ones left to remember him are his son Chris Baughman of Ninnekah and his daughter Stephanie Willbanks and husband Garrett of Kingfisher; grandchildren Kole Baughman of Midwest City, Sabre Baughman of Ninnekah, Colton Baughman of Ninnekah, Jackson Willbanks of Kingfisher and Cavin Willbanks of Kingfisher; brother Rick Baughman of Chickasha; sister Trish Bingaman and husband Van of Chickasha; nieces Roxanne Baughman, Rebecca Baughman, and Rachel Morales; nephew Calvin Bingaman of Chickasha; and other extended family and friends.

Viewing for Wes will be Thursday, March 27th from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
