Funeral services for Travis Leroy Farley, 48, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Ohl officiating.
Travis Leroy Farley was born March 16, 1971 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Donnie E. Farley and his biological mother, Rose Emma (Smith) Handley. He died Sunday, July 14, 2019 in El Reno, Oklahoma.
Travis grew up in Ninnekah, raised by his father, Donnie and step-mother, Patricia. He graduated from Alex High School in 1989.
From the time he was 18 years old, Travis started working in the oil field and worked his way up, eventually getting his CDL and was a truck driver in the oil field.
On July 31, 2008, he married Jamie Elizabeth Klima and they were married 11 years.
Travis liked to go fishing and working on vehicles. He enjoyed family get-togethers and loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Rose Handley; sister Lisa Farley; uncle Johnnie Farley and other uncles and aunts; and cousin Catherine Ash.
Survivors include his wife and daughter, Jamie and Presley Farley of the home; sons Patrick Stapp, Brandon Farley and Brian Farley all of Chickasha; daughter Paige Klima of Salt Lake City, Utah; father and mother Donnie and Patricia Farley of Chickasha; sisters and brothers-in-law Priscilla and Cody Hunt of Amber, Trisha and Steve Rhymer of Kingfisher and Delana and Mark Wyatt of Fort Worth, Texas; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Christie and Danny Shockey of Granbury, Texas; grandchildren, Kaden Stapp and Kristen Stapp; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
There will be viewing at Ferguson Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 17th from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 18th from 8:00 a.m. until the service time.
Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
