Funeral services for Tommie Leroy Harmon, 49, of Oklahoma City, will be held at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Chuck Davis and Johnny Tims officiating.
Tommie Leroy Harmon was born on September 16, 1965 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of Johnnie Lewis Harmon and Cora Laverne (McConnell) Harmon-Wilkerson. He passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Chickasha.
Tom grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1985. He had worked for Dairy Queen, managed the Family Dollar in Anadarko, and worked for about eight years at Badgett’s. For the past eight years he had worked for Modular Services in Oklahoma City, building hospital headwall equipment.
On December 28, 1990, he married Sheila Williams in Chickasha. They made their home in Oklahoma City.
Tom loved to go for drives along old Route 66. He also loved to cook and experimented with all kinds of recipes. He loved his dogs. He had a great sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Michael McKay, and sister-in-law, Joneel Harmon.
Tom will be loved and missed by his wife, Sheila Harmon, of the home; sister, Bonnie McKay; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Frances Harmon; brother, Johnnie Harmon, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Candace Wilson and Kirk Kornfeld, brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Wendy Williams; nieces, Allyson Wilson, KaLisa King, Amberlie Williams, and Carleigh Williams; nephews, Glen Isaacs, Jr., and Travis Isaacs; great-nieces and great-nephew, Olivia Grace Welch, Peyton Marie Wilson, and Wyatt Isaacs; step-siblings, Barbara, Phyllis, Rowena, and Billie; as well as many other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
