She spent most of her life in Chickasha, playing basketball in the late 1930s for Union Hill School. She retired from the Food Service Department, Chickasha High School. Her greatest joy in life was having her children and grandchildren home for the holidays. She loved to cook and always cooked plenty for all. Faye loved to sew and made many of her own clothes; if she wasn’t sewing she was working in her yard up into her early eighties. Painting and firing her ceramics was also a favorite hobby. She really enjoyed watching her grandsons play baseball. She was their biggest fan. Her late afternoon treat was sitting on her front porch sipping her favorite drink, Diet Pepsi.
