Memorial services for Terry Keith Howell, 76, of Chickasha, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2015 at Epworth United Methodist Church with Pastor Scott Keneda officiating.

Terry Keith Howell was born August 13, 1939 in Fredrick, Oklahoma, the son of Burl and Viola (Watson) Howell. He passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at his home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Terry, known as “Add On” to many, grew up in Frederick, Oklahoma, graduating from Frederick High School, and then he went into the United States Army, where he was an E-5. After serving his term in the military, he went to Cameron University, graduating in Business and Finance. Straight out of college, he went to work in the Custer County Federal Savings and Loan in Clinton, where he set up family ties and more life-long friendships.

He was a volunteer firefighter in Clinton for 18 years before moving to Chickasha and starting the Southwestern Savings and Loan. Terry later became President of the First National Bank of Alex. After retiring from the finance business, he went to work in the oil and gas industry, working for W.R. Hess Oil Company.

Terry married Ginny (Griffin) Dixon on May 1, 1998 in Oklahoma City.

“Add On” loved to hunt, fish, golf, and travel. He had numerous championships in Cowboy Team Roping competitions. He was a life-long Rotarian, Shriner, 32 nd Degree Mason, and served on many local boards, and was an active member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

Terry will lovingly be remembered by his eight grandchildren as PaPa Terry.

He was preceded in death by both parents.

Survivors include his wife, Ginny Howell, of the home; sister, Nita Gay Peet and husband, Mike, of Frederick; brother, Jerry Brent Howell and wife, Bonnie, of Enid; daughter, Jennifer Seibold, of Chickasha; stepsons, Derek Dixon and wife, Jenny, of Tulsa and Scott Dixon and wife, Tiffany, of Norman; grandchildren, Shelbie, George Sheldon, and Summer Seibold, Brooks, Beau, Bradee, Gus, and Marybelle Dixon; great-grandson, Rustyn Rundle; and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.

Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
