Terry Eugene Rumley was born on October 28, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Lester Laverne Rumley and Barbara Jean (Gordon) Rumley. He passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
At a young age, Terry moved from Wichita, Kansas to Oklahoma City with his family. They moved to Gracemont, where he attended grade school till 5th Grade. Then his family came to Verden, where he met the love of his life, Anita.
On March 5, 1976, he married Anita Lee Graves and they made a life in Verden, where they raised their three children.
He loved farming with his Dad and kids and actively working in the oilfield, until he had to stop due to health problems. Terry also loved remodeling old houses and restoring old cars and trucks, he enjoyed making things pretty. He loved being around all his children, they were his pride and joy and he was their hero!
Terry was the one the kids went to just to talk or to get things “fixed” so to say. Anytime a friend was in need, Terry was the first to help in whatever way he could. He embraced his family and friends with all his heart. His belief in the Lord was very deep and he was the happiest person ever when he was at church worshipping the Lord.
