A memorial service for Susan Renee White, 61, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at College Heights Baptist Church with Pat Cave officiating.
Susan Renee White was born December 27, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Dorothy Melvina White. She passed from this life on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at her home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Susan grew up and attended school in Chickasha, graduating from Chickasha High School.
She enjoyed going to garage sales and thrift shopping and collected owls and Western decorations. She loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a woman who had a big heart and loved everybody. Over her lifetime, she worked as a CNA taking care of others and as a house specialist for COCI (Chickasha Opportunity Workshop). She loved both these jobs.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy White, longtime boyfriend Johnny “Roach” Terrel, and sister-in-law Donna White.
Loved ones left to remember her are her son and daughter-in-law Travis and Lori White of Chickasha; grandchildren Amanda and fiancé Brandon, Coltin, and Melvina, all of Chickasha; brothers and sisters-in-law Chris and Christy White of Muskogee and Terry and Adelia White of Blanchard; nephews and nieces Mark white and wife Deseree, Megan White and fiancé Bo Lee and their children Kullen and Malaki Lee, Tracy Mandrell, Sara Tapia and daughters Jayden and Aryana, Nina White and daughters Destiny and Trinity; step-daughter and family Misty, Charles, Melissa and Breed Jones; step-daughter and family Elizabeth and Brian Miller and Brian Jr.; sister-in-law Patricia Lee and Wesley Akins; great nieces Nakiah and HadLeigh White; special friends Kathy Oberle and Sharon Weaver; and other extended family and friends.
The family will have a lunch in the dining hall of the church after the service.
Interment in Laverty Cemetery will be under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
