Memorial services for Stanley Louis Dotson, Jr., 52, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019 in the Fort Sill National Cemetery located in Elgin, Oklahoma.

Stanley Louis Dotson, Jr. was born June 9, 1966 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Stanley Louis Dotson, Sr. and Gail (Brown) Breitzke. He passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Stan was born and raised in Texas the Dallas, Plano and McKinney areas. He graduated high school in 1985 from McKinney High School in Plano.

He served in the United States Army during Desert Storm and Desert Shield and was a self-propelled field artillery systems mechanic. He was stationed in Germany, Fort Sill and the Middle East.

On July 10, 1993, he married Sherrie Renee Byers in Comanche, Oklahoma. They were approaching their 26th anniversary.

Stan liked hunting, fishing, camping and was an avid shooter. He was a fantasy football enthusiast and enjoyed the PPC Iron Challenge. He loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by both parents and both sets of grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Sherrie, of the home; daughters, Aubrey Reeves of Lawton and Shawna Dotson of Las Vegas, Nevada; son, Jonithan T.L. Dotson of Waukesha, Wisconsin; adoptive father, Robert Breitzke of La Vernia, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Sean and Nina Dotson of Deland, Florida; sister, Monetta Dotson of California; four grandchildren, Aurora Bricker, Justice Bricker, Eein Newman, and Zoeye Owens; and many other extended family and friends.

Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
