Graveside services for Ruby Lee (Parham) Robinson, 84, of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016 in Fairlawn Cemetery with Johnny Tims officiating.

Ruby Lee (Parham) Robinson was born on December 12, 1931 in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, the daughter of Grissom Henry Parham and Lily Lou (Bradley) Parham. She died Thursday, January 21, 2016 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Ruby grew up in the Fort Cobb area, including Anadarko and Gracemont, where she graduated from high school in 1951. She then moved with her family to Ninnekah. She began working as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell in Chickasha.

On December 16, 1960, she married Lee Robinson, Jr in Chickasha. After several years, they moved to the Oklahoma City area, where she also worked for Southwestern Bell in the networking department as a clerk. After she retired from 39 years at Southwestern Bell, they settled in Tecumseh and later moved back to Chickasha to be close to family. She and Lee were married 46 years, until Lee passed away in 2006.

Ruby liked to crochet, enjoyed doing laundry and most importantly, loving her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; both parents; two sisters, Louella Ann(Parham) Davidson and Rosetta (Parham) Landrith; four brothers, J. B. Parham, Donald Carrol Parham, Howard Doyle Parham, and Charles Henry Parham.

Survivors include her daughters, Leah Spear, of Raleigh, North Carolina and Gayla Blott of San Antonio, Texas; grandsons, Jordan Robinson of Chickasha, Christian Robinson-Spear of New York, New York, and Ryan Spear of Lake Elsinore, California; granddaughters, Brittany Blott of San Antonio, Texas and Taylor Spear of Raleigh, North Carolina; and other extended family and friends.

Services and interment are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
