Funeral services for Ruby Denise Adair, 48, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.
Ruby Denise Adair, who went by Denise, was born November 17, 1973 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Larry Edgar Williams and Dorthy Joann (Wren) Williams. She passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Denise grew up in Gotebo and Cement. She graduated from Ninnekah High School in 1991 and became an LPN.
On July 22, 1994, she married her high school sweetheart, Matthew Gene Adair. They shared 27 years of marriage before Matt passed away last month.
Denise taught nursing classes at Canadian Valley Technology Center and worked at Grace Living Center for many years.
She loved Matt deeply and whatever he did she was right there with him. She enjoyed her work as a nurse and loved her coworkers and patients. She liked shopping at Walmart and loved her dogs. Spending time with her grandson Brantley was one of her favorite things.
Denise was preceded in death by her husband, mother Dorthy Willaims and her grandparents on both sides.
She is survived by her daughter Chelsea Adair, son and daughter-in-law Nathen and Mika Adair and grandson Brantley, all of the home; father Larry Williams; sister Sherry Melendez and husband Daniel of Odessa, Texas; brother Joshua Williams of Hobart; and other extended family and friends.
Viewing will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 7 th from Noon to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 8 th from 10:00 am to 5:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
