No public services will be held for Roy Lee Martin, 86, of Chickasha.
Roy Lee Martin was born on July 31, 1928 in Blanchard, Oklahoma to Tommy Lee Martin and Mittie (Hagen) Martin. He died on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Roy grew up in Oklahoma and California and joined the United States Army in 1954. He married Janet Kay Blankenship on March 30, 1953 in Virginia City, Nevada.
Roy worked as a foreman with the railroad, building bridges for 42 years. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Chickasha, Oklahoma and a member of the Order of the Clampers in Alameda, California.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet and three daughters, Haley Olson, Page Martin, and Debbie Martin.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Shawn and Tom Falletti of Alameda, California; brother, Robert Henry of Pennsylvania; great-aunt, Ruby-Faye Graham of Kingman, Arizona; granddaughter, Tiffany Olson of Redding, California; grandson, Eric Wilder of Napa, California; and other extended family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Living Center in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
