Graveside services for Roy Harold McClary, 82, of Alex, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 in Fairlawn Cemetery with Sister Alice Wendling officiating.

Roy Harold McClary, known also as Curley Mack, was born May 27, 1935 in Keota, Oklahoma, the son of Roy H. McClary and Margie (Canady) McClary. He passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at his home in Alex, Oklahoma.

Curley Mack graduated high school while he was in the U.S. Army, serving from 1954 to 1959, during the Korean Conflict. Curley was a man of all trades and mostly self-employed. He did electrical work, welding, farming, auto-body work, and was an Alex police officer. He was best known as a musician and singer. His hobbies were playing music and building guitars. Curley had cut three wonderful records and one CD. He also enjoyed reading Western books.

Curley married Wanda Smith and from their marriage two daughters were born, Janet and Sherry. He then married Eunice Turnbow and from their marriage one daughter was born, Rhonda.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; sister, Wilma Lewis; brother, George McClary; and daughter, Janet Roby.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice McClary, of Chickasha; daughter, Sherry Geach of Oklahoma City; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Jim Bivans of Fletcher; sisters, Lou Rainwater and husband, Royce, and Dema Jordan; brothers, Larry McClary and Terry McClary; grandchildren, Jacob and Heather Bivans, Trisha Jaco, Stephen Geach, Chadwick and Rex Hibdon, Jana Findlay, Jacob Roby, and Kelli Kitchens; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
