Private graveside memorial services will be held at a later date for Rose Marie Crumm, 89, of Chickasha.
Rose Marie (Culbertson) Crumm was born May 11, 1932 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Walter Lee Culbertson and Hazel Louise (Montgomery) Culbertson. She passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Rose grew up on the family farm, just northeast of Chickasha. She graduated from Amber Schools.
In June 1951, she married the love of her life, Junior Dean Crumm and they shared over 70 years together.
Rose was a homemaker and focused on raising their four daughters. She was skilled at needlework and attended church faithfully and was the church secretary. She put her time and energy into her family and was a warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father Walter Lee Culbertson, mother Hazel Louise Banks, and brothers Melvin Roy Culbertson and Ronald Lee Culbertson.
Survivors include her husband J.D. Crumm of the home; daughters Hazel Pierce of Austin, Texas, Wanda Morgan and husband Michael of Houston, Texas, Paula White of Edmond, and Deborah Owens and husband Howard of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren Kena Pierce, Brandon Pierce, Michael Morgan, Jr. and wife Tiffany, Clint Morgan, Sareca Kistler and husband John, Kevin Ford, Jay Lowe and wife Samantha, Jennifer Owens and Samantha Owens; great-grandchildren Zane Pierce, Cole Morgan, Jacob Morgan, Liberty and Lainey Morgan, Morgan Kistler, John David Kistler, Kera Ford, Jake Ford, Addison Ford, M.J. Lowe, and Eleanor Lowe; and other extended family.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
