Funeral services for Ronnie Jess Climer, 63, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel Edwards officiating.
Ronnie Jess Climer was born on April 25, 1959 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of Jessey James Climer and Reta Jo (Tryon) Climer. He passed from this life in Chickasha, Oklahoma on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
Ronnie grew up in Chickasha, graduating from Chickasha High School in 1977. He attended Canadian Valley Technology Center and earned his welding certification. He worked as a welder at CBI and also in the oilfield building tankers, retiring in 2003.
He was a huge NASCAR and hockey fan and liked to hunt and fish. His life revolved around the activities of his twin boys, Ronnie Lynn and Jessie Charles.
He was preceded in death by his father Jessey Climer, brother James Climer and nephew Kevin Meeks and a niece Rene Climer.
He is survived by his mother Reta Climer of Chickasha; sons Ronnie Climer and wife Taylor of Norman and Jessie Climer-Villafana and wife Celeste of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughter Emrey Laken Jess Climer; sister Reta Englebretson of Chickasha; several nephews, nieces, cousins and other extended family and friends.
The viewing will be at Ferguson Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27 th from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family will have a time of visitation to receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
