Ronnie Barum Amstutz

Ronnie was born May 10 th , 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Nick and Rosalee. He is survived by his wife, Judy, daughters, Mariah and Stacy, mother, Rosalee, two sisters, Toni and Debbie, and brother Randy.

After graduating from Verden High School in 1976 Ronnie joined the U.S. Army and was stationed at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico where he met Judy whom he married in 1980.  After his daughters were born he attended and graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a Bachelor’s of Science, then earned a Master’s in Business Administration.

Ronnie was passionate professionally. During his fifteen years of employment with CentryLink, he was the Chief Architect of a new and innovative set of network management systems and multimillion dollar projects while utilizing sound leadership and management skills.

Above all, love for family was of the utmost importance. He loved spending time outdoors, hiking the Royal Gorge and Yellowstone with family, and riding his motorcycle.  His life revolved around his wife and daughters who were inspired by his dedication and loyalty to pursue their own achievements. He has been an inspiration to other family members, friends, and co-workers, and will be greatly missed.

He was interred at Laverty Cemetery after a service at Ferguson Funeral Home Monday at 10am. The family is requesting donations be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in lieu of flowers.
