Funeral services for Rollo Uriel Dickenson, 25, of Chickasha, will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Bible Baptist Church with Kim Hayes officiating.

Rollo Uriel Dickenson was born December 20, 1988 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Michael Joel Dickenson and Gabriela Garcia Dickenson. He died May 27, 2014.

Rollo grew up in Chickasha, graduated and played football for Chickasha High School.

He was a volunteer firefighter and ran a cattle operation with his father.  He also worked with his father in the crop spraying industry, where he learned to fly planes. Currently, he had worked for Stride Well Services as a driller. Rollo was fascinated with engineering and inventions, and he was always thinking of a better way to do something, a better way to create, always having ideas.

On February 8 th of this year, he and Jerilyn Arthur were united in marriage. He was excited that they were expecting their first child this November. He was so funny and full of life, always playing jokes, laughing and smiling. Everyone loved him, he knew how to make people smile and laugh so easily. He loved to help people and would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.  Rollo loved music and the outdoors and he also collected and restored guns. He will be remembered as someone who loved life, and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Franchesca Dickenson; paternal grandparents, Ben and Lottie Dickenson; and maternal grandfather, Jesus Aroyo.

Survivors include his wife, Jerilyn Dickenson, of Chickasha; father, Mike Dickenson, of Chickasha; mother, Gabriela Dickenson, of La Feria, Texas; two sisters, Alia Dickenson, of San Benito, Texas and Amanda Dickenson, of La Feria, Texas; father-in-law, Jerry Arthur, of Chickasha; mother-in-law, Pat Arthur, of Chickasha; and grandmother, Luisa Hernandez, of Edcouch, Texas; as well as many extended family and friends.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
