Gardening was Rita’s passion and” therapy”. She enjoyed reaping the rewards of what she grew and was grateful to feed her beloved family. She loved the earth and believed the Bible’s words in Matthew 5:5 that it is an inheritance given to the meek to live upon forever. Her faith in the Bible gave her strong convictions her entire adulthood, which she zealously shared with her family and all who cared to hear. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses baptized December 12, 1952, she believed up to her last breath that she would receive a resurrection from the dead and stand back to life on a paradise earth. The majority of her descendants believe prophecies in the Bible pointing to the time when they will welcome her back from the grave as a young, strong woman. There they will enjoy eternal life together as was God’s original purpose for mankind. For charitable donations to Rita’s favorite organization go to: JW.org
