Funeral services for Ricky Wayne Brawner Sr., 49, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 in the Ferguson Funeral Home.
Ricky Wayne Brawner Sr. was born on Feburary 10, 1968 in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of Ray Dean Brawner and Darlene M. (Secrist) Houser. He died on September 10, 2017 in Spencer, Oklahoma.
Ricky moved to the Woodward and Sayre area as a child. He then moved to Chickasha as a teenager and attended the Ninnekah Public Schools.
Ricky loved fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family.
Ricky was employed in the oilfield in various positions for twenty-six years where he ruffnecked, drilled and pushed tools. Ricky later started working at Baitys where he was presently employed.
Ricky married Darlene Cherenyock on February 10, 1988 and to this union his two children, Ricky and Whitney, were born.
On March 10, 2008, Ricky married Brandy Manning in Lawton, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Randy Lynn Brawner.
Survivors include his wife, Brandy of the home; mother, Darlene Houser of Cement, Oklahoma; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Maddie Brawner; daughter Whitney Brawner both of Chickasha, Oklahoma; step-son, Dooley Manning; step-daughter, Willow McDonald both of Alex, Oklahoma; brother and sister-in-law, Ray Dean and Lori Brawner of Chickasha, Oklahoma; brother, Joey Houser of Blackwell, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jazsper Riddle Jr., Jazzlynn Riddle, Ricky Brawner III and Brendan Brawner; and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
