Raymond F. Doughty, 80, was born August 3rd, 1940. He died January 17th,2021 at his home in Rush Springs, Oklahoma.
The family will hold a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 23, 2021 at Chickasha First Assembly of God Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
He worked for Ralph and Sons Oldsmobile for 12 years prior to opening/operating Ray’s Radiator Shop from 1975 to 1991 when he retired and moved to Rush Springs to live his life on his farm. He raised cattle and enjoyed having a garden every year. His best companion was his dog Max after the death of his wife Mary Doughty (Goodnight).
He and Ora Mae (Janie) were married and raised their children and made their house a home in Chickasha. Of this marriage they had 3 children, Terry, Russell, Jimmy.
Preceded in death by his father Frank Doughty and mother Christine (Hulbert) Doughty; brothers Tom and Carl; sisters Dorothy, Dolly and Billy Lou; granddaughter Heather Doughty; and great-grandchildren Derek Justice Doughty and Blaine Russell Doughty.
Survivors include his sister Pauline Crow; children Terry Doughty and wife Tammy, Russell Doughty and wife Kim, Jimmy Doughty and wife Sara; grandchildren Derek and family, Jay and family, Shea, Westyn and family, Zackary, Melissa, Tiffany and family, Brandon and family; multiple great-grandkids and other extended family and friends.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
