Funeral services for Randy L. Molder, 60, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2019 in the Bible Baptist Church with Brother Tommy Eastep officiating and Pastor Steve Volante assisting.
Randy L. Molder was born October 26, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Thomas B. Molder and Eva Marie (Moore) Molder. He died Friday, July 26, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Randy grew up in Cushing and then moved to McCamey, Texas with his family where he graduated high school in 1977. He attended Howard Payne University majoring in accounting.
On November 16, 1979, he married Kari Jones in Amber, Oklahoma and they were married coming up on 40 years.
In the beginning, they made their home in Amber and eventually settled in Chickasha. Randy was in restaurant service most of his life, owning a bakery for a time and then spent many years as the restaurant manager of Mazzio’s and most recently had worked for Pizza Hut.
Randy was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church. He loved his family and his grandkids were his world. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by both parents and his brothers, Jerry Molder and Rick Molder.
Survivors include his wife, Kari, of the home; sons, Jonathan Molder of Chickasha, Joshua and Ashley Molder of Oklahoma City, Joseph and Miranda Molder of Chickasha, and Jordan Molder of Chickasha; “adopted” son, Cody Thomas of Mustang; brother, Tom Molder of McCamey, Texas; sister, Sonya Molder of Eden, Texas; special cousin, Jeanna McDaniel of Gypsy; six grandchildren, Price, Maggie-Beth, Nellie, Creed, Eden and Ayden; and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Amber Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
