Funeral services for Ralph Uil Henderson, Jr., 76, of Chickasha, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2018 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Kerry McClure officiating.
Ralph Uil Henderson, Jr. was born September 13, 1941 in Anadarko, Oklahoma, the son of Ralph Uil Henderson, Sr. and Juanita (Lee) Henderson. He died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Blanchard, Oklahoma.
Ralph, known to many as Tedo, graduated from Anadarko High School at the young age of 16. He then joined the United States Navy and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business while in the Navy.
He went on to work as a business manager for Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG) in Muskogee, Oklahoma and also continued to take hospital administration classes. He moved to Midwest City and took a position as hospital administrator for Moore Hospital. Later he helped set up and was the hospital administrator for Thomas Hospital and then retired as the hospital administrator from OKC Clinic at Presbyterian Hospital. After retiring, he settled in Chickasha, where he had family close by and many friends.
While living in Muskogee, Ralph was over the Umpire Association. He coached women’s softball and was a fan of USAO’s women’s softball team. He loved golf and was an avid OU football fan.
He was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Roland Henderson.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Don Hendrix of Blanchard; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Robbin Henderson of Norman; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Molly Henderson of Memphis, Tennessee; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Justin Hartsock of Yukon; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Jim Crites; grandchildren, Cory Hendrix and wife, Sydney, Drake Bennett, Tiffany Baade and husband, Dalton, Zenon Hendrix, Corey Henderson, Cace Hartsock, and John Henderson; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Aria, Calloway, Kenzlee, and Luna; and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Memory Lane Cemetery located in Anadarko, Oklahoma under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
