A come and go Celebration of Life for Peggy June (Malone) Cole, 73, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Chickasha, will be held at the home of Mrs. Ginny Howell, 405 Fieldcrest Drive in Chickasha from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Food and refreshments will be provided.

The family will hold a private memorial graveside service prior to the Celebration of Life event.

Peggy June (Malone) Cole was born September 13, 1942 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Ted Malone and Ziona Malone. She passed away on August 22nd, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. Peggy lived in Chickasha for 70 years before moving to Oklahoma City in November, 2012 and then to Phoenix, Arizona in December, 2015.

Peggy graduated from Chickasha High School in 1960 and married Ronald Davidson in May, 1959 and they had two daughters, Amanda Davidson and Angela Davidson.

She graduated from USAO in 1977 with a B.S. in Accounting and a Minor in Art. She owned and operated Tuttle Accounting & Tax Service, Inc. formerly known as Peggy’s Bookkeeping Service from 1974 to December of 2015.

She married Jerry Cole on August 25, 1983. Through their involvement with the American Junior Golf Association, they traveled extensively.

Peggy was involved in several organizations including Beta Sigma Phi, PEO, Meals on Wheels and was a lifetime member of the USAO Alumni Association. She was docent for several years at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. She was also a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Chickasha where she was ordained as an elder in1998, served as the church treasurer, was a member on the session, and worked as a volunteer for Summer, Food & Fun at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Cole, father, Ted Malone, and mother, Ziona Malone.

Survivors include daughters, Amanda Davidson and Angela Davidson; sister, Patsy Watson; numerous nieces and nephews; friend and employee of more than 40 years, Kathy Cobble, and lifelong friends, Deanna Hardesty and Nedra Foster.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 1284, Chickasha, OK 73023; Chickasha Mobile Meals, Attn: Joyce Belville, Treasurer, 1602 W. Tennessee Ave., Chickasha, OK 73018; The American Heart Association; or any other charity on her behalf.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
