Graveside services for Cynthia Patricia “Pat” Fourniea, 72, of Ninnekah, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2020 in Laverty Cemetery.
Cynthia Patricia Fourniea, known as Pat, was born November 18, 1947 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Pat H. Nichols and Cynthia Nae (Ryans) Harris. She died Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Pat grew up in Burbank, California where she attended school and met the love of her life, Earl Anthony Fourniea. They were married on September 29, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nevada and had over 41 years together until Earl passed away in December of 2013. Pat and Earl made their home in Orange County, California until 1992 when they moved to Ninnekah.
She loved to celebrate Halloween and Christmas. She was the President of the Ninnekah Community Alliance, organizing a haunted house, decorating Ninnekah with Christmas lights and a community Christmas tree. Pat would open her home for the Tour of Homes so than everyone could enjoy her Christmas spirit. She also opened her home and heart to foreign exchange students.
She was preceded in death by her father Pat Nichols, mother Cynthia Harris, husband Earl Fourniea, and brother Rod Nichols.
She is survived by her brother David Harris of Chickasha and many other extended family and friends.
