Patricia Ann Fraser

d. May 30, 2024

A funeral service for Patricia Ann Fraser, 82, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Pat was born to Lynn and Ella Ladd December 4, 1941 in Shamrock, Texas, where she was raised. As a young woman, she enjoyed playing basketball. She passed from this life on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at home in Chickasha.

She met her first husband in 1959. They had 5 children together.

Pat then met and married her 2nd husband, Willard “Red” Fraser, in 1978. They were married 24 years before his passing in 2002.

She was a homemaker, loved playing bingo, enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening, cooking, and helping raise her grandkids. She spent her final working years as a caretaker and nanny. Pat loved taking care of others, and was well-gifted in hospitality. She left behind a wealth of knowledge and life skills that were hard-earned and much needed today. If you knew her, you knew a warm hug, a hot meal, a bright smile, a mischievous laugh, and an invitation to just be yourself in her presence.

Pat was preceded in death by both parents, her daughter and son-in-law Pam and James Robinson, son Glen Ray Kirkland, husband Willard “Red” Fraser, brothers Leon and Kenneth Ladd, and first husband Walter “Scooter” Kirkland.

Loved ones left to remember her are her daughter Angie Kirkland of Chickasha, son Walter Kirkland and wife Vickie of Dibble, son Bobby Kirkland and wife Rachelle of Cedar Lake, daughter Sherry Crump of Hennessey, and son Randy Fraser of Hennessey; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

Viewing for Pat will be held at Ferguson Funeral Home on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Pat will be cremated following the service. The service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
