Graveside services for Otis Orville Barnard Jr., 65, of Chickasha will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Marlow Cemetery with Kim Hayes officiating.
Otis Orville Barnard Jr. was born in Chickasha on January 10, 1948, the son of Otis Orville Barnard Sr. and Robbie Jewel (Grooms) Barnard. He died Sunday, December 22, 2013
Otis grew up in the Chickasha area and attended the Chickasha and Ninnekah Public Schools. He spent a year and a half in the job corps.
He was a truck driver for many years and had been employed as an Amber Police Officer for over five years. He currently worked as a security guard for Dillard’s at the Sooner Mall.
As a young man, Otis enjoyed and participated in rodeos. In more recent years, he loved watching and helping with boat races.
Otis will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Billy Bob Tryon of Blanchard; his brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Carla Barnard of Chickasha; his nephew and nieces, Bobby Joe Barnard, Shelly Scales, and Robyn Tryon; and other extended family and friends.
Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
