Graveside services for Orena Workman, 90, of Chickasha, were held at Fairlawn Cemetery.
Lillian Orena (Gates) Coggin Workman was born February 11, 1930 in Byers, Oklahoma, to Charlie and Gladys (Boyd) Gates. She died Saturday, May 30, 2020 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Orena lived most of her life in and around Chickasha.
She married Robert Coggin and to this union her sons Donald and Jerry were born.
She was a cosmetologist and later owned and operated The Wheel-In Bar. She had also lived for several years in Kuwait.
On May 19, 1975, she married Oscar Don Workman and they were married for 23 years until his death in November 1998.
Orena was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Don, son Jerry Coggin, Sr. and brother Earl Gates.
Survivors include her son Donald Coggin of McAlester; grandson Bobby Coggin of McAlester; granddaughter Dee Dee Wise of Oklahoma City; grandson Jerry Coggin, Jr. and wife Ashley Webb of Chickasha; niece Charlotte Burnes of Chickasha; five great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; great-niece and great-nephews, Buffi and Jim Colquilt, Brandon and Melissa Mann, Derek and Sarah Cummings and other extended family and friends.
Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
