Graveside services for Olivia Todd, 80, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014 in Anadarko’s Memory Lane Cemetery with Bill Ohl officiating.
Olivia Todd was born May 21, 1934 in Cement to Jerry Lee Todd and Carrie Lee (Thompson) Todd. She died Saturday, June 14, 2014 in Oklahoma City.
Olivia grew up in the Cement area and she attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in Anadarko. She was blessed with four children, Debra, Virgil, Elbert, and Gary.
Olivia was a teacher’s aide in Cement from 1976 to 1998 and she enjoyed working with children. She liked to care for plants, and work puzzle books and word searches. She dearly loved her family. She received great enjoyment from being with children, especially her own great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents; son, Gary Todd; brothers, Willie Cherry and Raymond Nelson Todd; sister, Alma Nash.
Survivors include her sons, Virgil Todd of Lawton and Elbert Todd of Killeen, Texas; daughter, Debra Todd of Chickasha; two grandchildren, Kendra Chappell and Katrina Flowers; brother, Hubert Todd of Kansas City, Missouri; sisters, Bobbie Parker of Radcliff, Kentucky and Zelma Johnson of Duncan; four great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, and other extended family and friends.
Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
