A funeral service for Ola Mae Morrison, 84, of Amber, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Amber with Dean Guthrie officiating.

Ola Mae Morrison was born January 9, 1939 in Bridge Creek, Oklahoma to Ralph Wilson Testerman and Rhoda Ethel (Kee) Testerman. She passed from this life on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at her home in Amber, Oklahoma.

Ola loved her childhood, growing up in Bridge Creek and graduating from Bridge Creek High School as Valedictorian.

She worked for Tinker Air Force Base right out of high school. She was then a loan officer and vice president in banking.

On April 13, 1984, she married Kenneth Morrison and they had 36 years together until his passing in 2020. They owned and operated Ken’s Steak House in Amber for many years and it grew into a very successful endeavor.

Ola enjoyed reading and gardening. She loved cooking and entertaining others. Having her family around for holidays was important to her and Christmas was her favorite. She was funny and was always straight forward and to the point.

She was preceded in death by both parents, husband Ken, her sisters Alice Paige, Lavelle Ragsdale, Helen Brown, and Ruth Betterton, and her brother Monroe Testerman.

Loved ones left to remember her are her daughter Lynne (Wilson) Zepeda of Amber; son James Brian Wilson of Oklahoma City; step-daughter Regina Blaine of Amber; brother and sister-in-law Roy and Linda Testerman of Minco; sister and brother-in-law Lora and Ken Dills of Decatur, Illinois; granddaughter Jamie Milsap and husband Cornell and great-grandchildren Adrianne Milsap, Quentin Milsap, Payton Monroe and his wife Brooke and their daughter, Ava; grandchildren Dana and Ben James, Ryan and Rebecca Blaine, Levi and Adrienne Blaine, and Lydia and Thomas Chapman; great-grandchildren Ethan and Sawyer James, Stanton James, Abbey James, and Ryleigh Blaine; great-great grandchildren Daphne and Henry; and other extended family and friends.

A viewing and visitation for the family to receive friends will be held on Monday, December 4 th from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Chickasha. There will be no viewing at the church. The interment will be in Amber Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
