Funeral services for Norma Jean Miller, 80, of Verden will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2020 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with her son Bill Miller officiating.
Norma Jean (McGloflin) Miller was born April 22, 1940 in Cabot, Arkansas, the daughter of Samuel Bishop McGloflin and Lois Irene (Kerr) McGloflin. She died May 13, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Norma grew up in Cabot, Arkansas but with her dad in the Armed Forces they moved around therefore she attended several different schools. She graduated from Elgin High School in 1958.
She married and had her two children Billy and Connie, then in the late 1990’s, she settled in Verden, Oklahoma. She worked at Gabriel for over 30 years and she had currently worked for Wal-Mart for the past 13 years.
Norma liked shopping and going to concerts. In her younger days, she enjoyed square dancing. She just liked “to go” and loved being around people. She also liked to cook for her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents and a brother Charles “Sonny” McGloflin.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Billy and Dee Miller of Kilgore, Texas and daughter Connie Wolf of Verden; brother and sister-in-law Joe and Linda McGloflin of Cabot, AR; grandchildren Cory Miller, Audie and Darcy Wolf, and Caleb and Brooke Miller; great-grandchildren Aiden Wolf, Asher Wolf and Hartley Miller; and other extended family and friends.
Public viewing will be at Ferguson Funeral Home Sunday, May 17th from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Due to the current attendance limitations, we will be streaming the funeral service live to the Ferguson Funeral Home Facebook Page.
Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens, located in Lawton, Oklahoma will be under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
