Nora Null

A funeral service for Nora Bell Null, 90, of Chickasha, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at College Heights Baptist Church with Ezell Nelson officiating and Dr. Bryan Haynes assisting.

Nora Bell Null was born March 18, 1934, in Bradley, Oklahoma to Louie Ballard and Catherine (Marshall) Ballard. She passed from this life on Monday, March 17, 2025, in Chickasha, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.

Nora grew up in Agawam and attended Kechi School. On August 20, 1949, in Wichita Falls, Texas she married Archie Null, and they shared 67 years of marriage together. She loved her husband Archie dearly and you didn’t see one without the other.

Nora was a homemaker and could always be found in the kitchen cooking full family meals. She loved baking and was always the last one to sit down to eat after serving others. Nora also loved children and babies. On Sundays she watched children in the children’s nursery at College Heights Baptist Church for over fifty years.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Archie Null, sons Ricky Null, Timothy Null, and Robert Null, brother Wiley Ballard,  sisters Linda Bishop and infant sister Mary Ballard. 

Loved ones left to remember her are her sons and spouses, Larry and Connie Null of Chickasha, Gary and Roxanne Null of Chickasha, daughter-in-law Denise Null; brothers Clarence Ballard of Rush Springs, Danny Ballard of Moore; sister Carolyn Parnell of Rush Springs, eleven grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and other extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery prior to her funeral service under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
