Funeral services for Nancy Carol Trotter, 63, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 in the First Christian Church with Reverend Michael Oberlender officiating.
Nancy Carol Trotter was born June 10, 1957 in San Diego, California. Her parents were Bill Evans and Norma June (Wygle) Evans. She died on Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Nancy graduated from Carnegie High School in 1976. She married Gary Wilburn and to this marriage her son Brandon was born.
Around this time, she worked for Sexton School Supply in Apache. She then married Terry Head and to this union her son Aaron was born. She then had her daughter Brittany.
On June 2, 1999, she married the love of her life, Terrell Trotter in Texas and was blessed with his children Brandie and Tiffanie. They had 22 years together.
Nancy worked at a daycare for a time and then worked for many years as a paraprofessional with the Chickasha Schools. After that she worked as a technician at Motionworks Physical Therapy, retiring in 2012.
She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was her children’s biggest supporter. They said that “when the world didn’t love you, she always did.” She was “Mama Nancy” to so many of their friends and will be deeply missed. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Branson with Terrell. She got a lot of enjoyment out of pulling pranks and was pretty good at it. She was a lot of fun.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father Bill Evans and her brother-in-law Rocky LaMarr.
She is survived by her husband, Terrell of the home; mother Norma Evans and sister Kelley LaMarr of Edmond; children Brandon Wilburn of Texas, Aaron Head and wife Audrey of Stecker, Brittany Powell and husband Nolan of Chickasha, Brandie Glass of Chickasha and Tiffanie Trotter and partner Cody James of Chickasha; grandchildren Lilly Head, Brynlie Trotter, Kannon Powell, Gage Wilburn, Chase Wilburn, Landyn James, Bryson Glass, Andrew Glass and Ally Trotter; nephew and niece Evan LaMarr and Meredith Wade and husband Andrew and their two sons Judah and Amos; and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
