Funeral services for Myrtle D. Sellers, 90, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2015 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kent Hibbard officiating.
Myrtle D. Sellers was born on March 9, 1925 in Tabler, Oklahoma, the daughter of Josiah D. Duncan and Alice Josephine (Vaughon) Duncan. She passed away Wednesday, May 06, 2015 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Myrtle grew up in Tabler and graduated from Middleburg High School. After high school, she married Elmer L. Sellers on June 1, 1946 in Chickasha.
Over the years, she worked for Armour Creamery and at Humpty Dumpty Supermarket. After she and Elmer retired, they spent a lot of time camping in their RV. She also enjoyed cooking.
Myrtle was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Elmer, and one brother, Menard Duncan.
Survivors are son and daughter-in-law, Randell and Carol Sellers of Lawton, grandson, Zac Sellers of Lawton, and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
