Funeral services for Mila Pendarvis, 54, of Anadarko, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Anadarko with Pastor Ted Mercer officiating.

Mila Pendarvis was born August 4, 1962 in the Philippines to Felisa Moore and Pedro Tomagos. She passed on September 30, 2016 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mila was surrounded by family, friends, and coworkers.

In 1969, she came to the United States with her mother Felisa and special father Herman Moore and her siblings. Mila attended Anadarko High School, where she met her high school sweetheart Craig Eugene Pendarvis at the age of 15. Mila was employed at Hollytex Carpet Mill, Aero Safety, and Gold River Casino (her 2nd family). Mila loved her family especially her husband of 32 years, daughters, and grandchildren. Mila loved to cook especially fry bread and fried chicken, play cards & dominos, dance, fish and spend time with friends and family. Most of all she loved to spend time with her grandkids. Mila enjoyed eating crab legs especially with her sisters. Mila was a kind and loving woman and kept her home open to all. She accepted everyone and was never judgemental.

Preceded in death by her special father Herman Moore, mother-in-law Dorothy (Sug) Pendarvis, father-in-law Sonny Norwood, sister-in-law Janice Lockhart, sister-in-law Ladonna Pendarvis, brother-in-law Kenneth (Dicky) Post, and niece Chessa Pendarvis.

Mila is survived by her husband, Craig Eugene Pendarvis, of the home; her daughters, Christina Pendarvis (Demetrice) of Moore, Melissa Pendarvis (Matthew) of Oklahoma City, Kara & Kitaro Johnson of Oklahoma City, My’Kael Pendarvis (Chad) of Anadarko; her grandchildren; Alaysia Pendarvis, Amylia & Amya Peteet, Baby King, and  Amari Williams; her siblings, sister Josie & Sylvester Cruikshank of Anadarko, sister Teresa Tomagos of Anadarko,  brother Jose Tomagos of  Philippines, brother Nido & Felicia Tomagos of Chickasha, sister Shirley Moore of Atlanta, Georgia, brother Carlos & Marcie Moore (My’Kael Coleman) of Edmond. Sisters-in-law, Sharon Post of Oklahoma City and Pamela and Gordon Brown of Kileen, Texas;  brothers-in-law, Jeff and Kenyeta Pendarvis of Lawton and Jerrel & Diane Pendarvis of Anadarko; a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

Interment will be held in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Oklahoma under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
