Melissa Ann Hill was born September 13, 1967 in Nuremberg, Germany to David James Raper and Wanda Jo (Parks) Darity. She passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Melissa grew up in Ninnekah and graduated from Ninnekah High School.
She married Bengi Hill, who preceded her in death a few years ago.
Melissa loved her family and was very quiet. She had a small group of friends. She loved animals and would save every stray dog or cat she came across.
She was preceded in death by her husband; grandparents, Willie and Mildred Parks; grandparents, Virgil and Bernice Raper; and uncle, James Parks.
Survivors include her mother, Wanda Darity of Chickasha; father, David Raper of Chickasha; brother, David James Raper of Chickasha; uncle and aunt, Keith and Loretta Reynolds of Chickasha; cousins, Brian and Sherri Reynolds of Chickasha; niece, Adrianna Raper of Chickasha; as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Friends of Melissa can gather at Wanda’s home on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. to remember Melissa.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
