Funeral Mass for Mark W. Stallbaumer of Chickasha, OK will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Chickasha.

Mark W. Stallbaumer was born July 8, 1941 in Goff, Kansas to Wilfred “Bill” Bernard Stallbaumer and Beatrice Ernestine (Eisenbarth) Stallbaumer. He passed from this life on Saturday, November 11th, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

On June 20, 1964, he married Sue Ann Timberlake in Ponca City. They moved to Chickasha in 1966 where they had lived since.

Mark was a longtime member of Holy Name Catholic Church and was a Eucharist Minister and on the Past Parish Council.  He was a Cub and Boy Scouts Pack 306 Scout Leader and an Assistant Scout Master to the World Jamboree in Banff, Canada. Mark was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and a member of the Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. He served on the Board for the Chickasha Opportunity Center and the Women’s Service Center. He was also a volunteer for the Festival of Light and a supporter of USAO Sports, raising funds for uniforms and then championship rings for the men’s basketball and the women’s softball.

He was preceded in death by both parents; a son Teddy Stallbaumer in March 2013, his wife Sue in February 2017; sister Sharon Hill; and brothers Gary Stallbaumer and Will Stallbaumer.

Loved ones left to remember Mark are his son Todd Stallbaumer of Oklahoma City; brother Richard Stallbaumer of Phoenix, Arizona; sister Marilee Lacy of Missouri; nephews and nieces: Kim and Garry Selvey, Candy Mills, Kimberly Griffin, Stephanie Aslam, Chris Nichols, Angie Haugtvedt, Sheila Carmines, John Stallbaumer, Lysa McBroom, Deby Ludwig, Joan Pind, Ann Nitzschke, Terri Morrison and Blaze Adonis; And a host of cousins, other family and friends.

The family would like to thank Glenhaven Retirement Village and Lifeline Home Health and Hospice for the kind and loving care they provided for Mark during this time.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home.

The family encourages friends that sport attire is acceptable to wear in memory of Mark’s love for all sports.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
