Funeral services for Lucille Jackson Ogle, 86, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Grand Assembly of God Church with Pastor Gary Rogers officiating and Bill Embrey assisting.
Lucille Dollene (Brownfield) Jackson Ogle was born March 30, 1932 in Naples, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Brownfield and Snora (Rail) Brownfield. She passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 surrounded by her family at her home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Lucille grew up around Grady County and lived here her entire life. She attended school in Amber. She had worked at Maremont.
On September 14, 1948, she married Fred Jackson and to this union her daughter, Noella, was born.
Lucille liked gardening, taking care of her yard, playing cards and dominoes. She was a member of Grand Assembly of God Church and attended every church function she could. She loved spending time with her family and going to lunch with her friends. She enjoyed going to “Saturday Night Singings” and traveling, she said being on the go was in her blood and came from being a Brownfield.
She married Bill Ogle on December 19, 1997 in Tabler, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband, Bill Ogle.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Noella and Alton Fox; granddaughter, Kelly Dorsey and husband, Mike; grandson, Jason Fox and wife, Frenchy; brother, Jim Atwell; sisters, Wanda Pool, Eldora Wright, and Jessie Rogers; great-grandchildren and their spouses, Shayni Williams and Ryan Hayes, Dereck and Sheyanne Dorsey, Blake and Harlie Dorsey, Chelsea Fox, Katelyn Fox, and Kameryn Fox; numerous great-great-grandchildren and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be held in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
