Funeral services for Lois Jantz, 89, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel Edwards officiating.

Lois (Haile) Jantz was born November 4, 1929 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dick Haile and Buddy Opal (Griffin) Haile. She passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Lois grew up in Chickasha during the depression and as a young girl she worked with her family migrant farming cotton and broomcorn.

On October 13, 1951, she married Lincoln Jantz in Wichita Falls, Texas and they were married for 54 years until his passing in 2005.

Lois worked for Pet Milk for 20 years, while also raising her family. She was baptized in 1976 at Bible Baptist Church and was a member there for a few years.

She loved taking trips with family, often to Branson with her daughters and son-in-law or to Tunica, Mississippi with her son and daughter-in-law. She and Lincoln took a special trip in their daughter’s Camaro to Disney World. Another time, she flew for the first and only time to San Antonio with Lincoln, their son Jamie and his wife Carolyn.

Lois enjoyed going to the “show”. She had a special bond with two of her great-granddaughters, Madison and Rainie.

She was preceded in death by her father Dick Haile, mother Buddy Hankins, husband Lincoln Jantz, son Jamie Jantz, daughter Sandra Rich, grandson Shawn Briscoe, and brothers Buck and Dude Haile.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law Sue and Larry McCoy of Chickasha and Brenda and Allen Martin of Chickasha; daughter-in-law Carolyn Jantz of Norge; grandchildren Tiffany and Derek Copeland, Vicki and Clayton Brown, Eric Jantz, Shawn and Susie Jantz, Jason and Leigh Martin, Jenna Jantz and Anthony Couch, Brandon Rich, and Derek Rich; numerous great-grandchildren and other extended family and friends.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
