Lois was born on January 22, 1940, in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Oleta Louise and William Henry Hotz and passed away February 26, 2022.
Lois married David Warfield Prickett on May 17, 1958. She and Dave were married 59 years. They made their home in Anadarko where she was a homemaker. Lois and Dave raised two sons and one daughter. Lois enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. Her greatest love was her husband. They spent time together working in the garden, relaxing in the backyard and spending time with their children. After her children were grown she devoted time to her grandchildren. “Meme” as the grandkids called her, made all their special foods, snacks and their favorite…. fried chicken strips, mash potatoes and gravy for the six grandsons. Lois also loved to sew. When her grandchildren were very young she made baby clothes, specialty outfits, and blankets for all of them, as well as doll clothes for the only granddaughter. Her and Dave traveled all over Oklahoma watching her grandchildren play sports, and participate in school events.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband Dave, her mother and father, and four sisters: Billie Jean, Betty, Bertha, and Wilma.
