A funeral service for Lisa Renee Watt, 64, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Emeritus Kim Hayes officiating.
Lisa Renee (Baker) Watt was born January 20, 1961, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Jack George Baker and Barbara Lea (McCloskey) Livingston. She passed from this life Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She grew up in Chickasha and graduated from CHS in 1979.
After living for a short time in Duncan, she moved back to Chickasha. She worked as a physical therapy aide for many years at Southern Plains Medical Center. Over the years, she had also worked as a receptionist at Grady Memorial Hospital and as a massage therapist.
On January 2, 1998, she married Steven Watt, and they shared 27 beautiful years together. Her family always lovingly referred to her as “Liza Rene” and “NeNe.”
Lisa loved shopping and camping. She was passionate about rescuing dogs and helped with Friends Fur Change for a long time. She loved her family fiercely and would tell them what she thought, caring so much for them and not wanting to see them make mistakes. She was a strong-willed and straight forward red head. She loved spoiling her grandbabies and she loved the Lord deeply. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church for many years and had taught Sunday school and Awana's.
She was preceded in death by her father Jack Baker and her mother Barbara Livingston and her brother Jackie Baker.
Loved ones left to remember her are her husband Steve of the home; daughter and son-in-law Amy and Brock Bowles of Blanchard; son Trey Scott of Edmond; step-son Brandon Watt and wife Jennifer of Oklahoma City; sister Cherryl Fergason and husband Gene of Chickasha; grandchildren Hayden, Landon, Lexi "Sissy", Lane and Denton; nieces Carrie Boggess and husband Gary, Dane Fergason, and Shannon Gibson and husband Greg; nephew Jack Baker and wife Rebecca; and other extended family and friends.
Viewing for Lisa will be Tuesday, February 25th from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home.
