A funeral service for Linda Sue Bryan, 78, of Mustang, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 in the Bible Baptist Church with Reverend Kim Hayes officiating.
Linda Sue (Kluver) Bryan was born May 10, 1945 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Fred Kluver and Christel Lula (Smith) Kluver. She passed from this life on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.
Linda grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1963.
On November 30, 1963, she married the love of her life, John Victor Bryan, Jr. and they shared almost 60 years together.
Linda and John lived in Chickasha for a couple of years after they got married, then they moved to Hereford, Texas for three years before settling in Anadarko in 1968, where their kids grew up and went to school.
Growing up, Linda attended Bible Baptist Church. Later, for many years, they were members of Bethel Baptist Church in Anadarko and she loved her church and serving the Lord. Linda loved her four children and spent many hours taking them all over the state to all their school/sporting activities. She enjoyed reading, card games and was a terrific cook. In 2007, she had a major stroke, which never robbed her of her joy. She loved people and her family and everyone loved her back.
Linda was preceded in death by both parents, her brothers Fred Raymond Kluver and Richard Kluver, and a granddaughter Kali Bryan.
Loved ones left to remember her are her husband John of the home; children David Bryan and wife Donna of Florissant, Colorado, Bill Bryan and wife Josie of Florissant, Colorado, Kim Geurkink and husband Pat of Sand Springs, and Kristi Cabaniss of Oklahoma City; sister and brother-in-law Francis and Vernon Riddle of Ninnekah; grandchildren John Taylor Bryan, Jonathon Christopher Bryan, Bryan Geurkink, Kylie Geurkink, Aleksi Richert and husband Ryan, Reagan Quintero and husband Drew; great-grandchildren Ayven, Bruin, Tage, and Riley; and other extended family and friends.
Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
