Linda Elaine Pearson, 73, of Chickasha, was born November 11, 1950 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of James Calvin LaBlue, Sr. and Veleta Geraldine (Williams) LaBlue Sherrill. She passed from this life on July 10, 2024 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Linda grew up in Blackwell and hung out in Ponca City. She married Larry Brown on June 14, 1969 and they had two daughters together.

During her younger years, Linda worked in nursing. She also enjoyed attending and working car auctions and worked in sales on car lots.

In the mid-nineties, she married Douglas Pearson and they had a farm in Alex. She liked working the farm, being outside and planting flowers. She loved her dogs. She was a collector of crystals and rocks.

Linda was preceded in death by her father James LaBlue, Sr., her mother Veleta Sherrill, an infant brother Dale Roy LaBlue, brothers James LaBlue, Jr. and Dwaine Allen “Blue” LaBlue.

Survivors are her husband Doug Pearson of the home; brother Kenny Ray LaBlue of Colorado; sister Veleta Ann LaBlue of Arkansas; daughters Jeannie Fancher of Kansas and Marlene Brown of Kremlin; step-daughters Melissa Crawford of Chickasha and Catherine Yvonne Neal of Arkansas; grandchildren Ashley Wilder, Allyson Fancher, Colton Rath, Jacob Rath, Jordan Rath, Sydnee Harris, Ansleigh Harris, Shyra Harris, Danielle Harris, and Isabell Neal; great-grandchildren Dexter, Owen, Waylon, Amelia, Lole, Kimberly and Amaiah; and other extended family and friends.

There are no services scheduled and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
