Funeral Services for Lewis Ray Keller, Jr., 67, of Chickasha, will be held Monday, October 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dean Esskew officiating.
Lewis Ray Keller, Jr. was born on September 25, 1947 in El Reno, Oklahoma, the son of Lewis Ray Keller, Sr. and Liddie Mae (Nickels) Keller. He passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Lewis grew up and graduated high school in Pomona, California. He joined the United States Army immediately after high school and fought in the Vietnam War as an artillery gunman.
He married Deborah Kay Reynolds and from this union two children were born, Ranae and William. Later, he married Marlene Frances Polley and to this union one daughter was born, Ashley.
After the Army, Lewis worked as a self-employed tile setter contracting his services to various construction companies.
Lewis was an active member of the Patriot Guard Riders.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Ray Keller, Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Liddie Mae Keller of Chickasha; wife, Marlene Keller of Mesa, Arizona; daughter and son-in-law, Ranae and Steve Blackburn of Chickasha; son and daughter-in-law, William and Cindi Keller of Chickasha; daughter, Ashley Ray Keller of Mesa, Arizona; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Glen Allen of Ninnekah; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Joe Dyer of Chickasha; four grandchildren, Sean McCoy and his wife, Candace, Robert McCoy, Charles Roland, and Hannah Roland; three great-grandchildren, Sean McCoy, Jr., Summer McCoy, and Shane McCoy; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dave Slate, who donates his time and resources providing the ‘final ride’ to their final resting place for veterans that fought for their country, so we Americans remain free. Please send the donations to 3969 West Osage, Duncan, Oklahoma 73533.
Interment will be in Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
