Private services will be held at a later date for Leroy Keys, 72, of Chickasha.
Leroy Keys was born in Chickasha on September 15, 1940, the son of Owen Thomas Keys and Della (Thompson) Keys. He died on Monday, August 27, 2012, in Chickasha.
Leroy served in the Navy and worked his whole life in the oilfield. During his oilfield career he traveled most of the world. He enjoyed fishing and spending time on the lake. T.V. was his favorite past time.
Leroy was preceded in death by: both parents; a sister, Ruth Hankins; and a son, Ricky Ryans.
Survivors include: two sons, Marlin Keys of Ninnekah, and Randy Ryans of Chickasha; a daughter-in-law, Shenia Prentiss of Chickasha; a sister, Dorothy Hughes of Oklahoma City; and a brother, Elmer Keys of Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
