Keith was born in Rush Springs, Oklahoma on May 5, 1937 to Audry & Opal Urban. He passed away on 11-14-2021 in Oklahoma City, OK surrounded by his children.

Keith grew up and remained tied to Rush Springs, Oklahoma. There he owned and ran an Ostrich Farm for several years. However, his true passion was always the Oilfield Patch. There his career took him on many overseas positions as a Drilling Consultant for years until his retirement in early 2000’s.

He spent his time between running a local bait shop at Waurika Lake in Waurika, Oklahoma and living at Lake Humphrey in Marlow, Oklahoma.

He has 5 wonderful children.  Each one is left with a unique bond of their own with him from the knowledge and advice he yielded throughout the years.

He enjoyed the lake life which included; setting jug lines, catching up with old friends and making new ones. Many were gained from small talk conversations and chats over coffee.

He is proceeded in death by his father and mother, Audry & Opal Urban; Step-Mother Viola Urban.

He is survived by; Son, Mike Urban and Wife Marcella of Deer Park, Texas; Daughter, Tammy Cunningham & Husband James of Magnolia, Texas; Son, Steve Urban & Wife Kim of Johnstown, Colorado; Son, Keith Urban Jr. & Wife Cheryl of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Daughter, Stacy Strong & Husband Clint of North Carolina.

Brother: Linn & Wanda Urban of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Grandsons; Matthew Urban & Wife Natalie of Friendswood, Texas; Dominic Urban & Wife Seneca of Edmond, Oklahoma; Spencer Urban of Fort Collins, Colorado; Clint Strong of North Carolina; Joe Hughes & Wife Joy of Magnolia, Texas; Daniel Rowland & Wife Erica of Acworth, Georgia.

Granddaughter’s; Carly Strong of North Carolina; Rebekah & Husband Derek of League City, Texas; Brooke Smith & Husband Colt of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; Krista McCarthey & Wife Christian of Moore, Oklahoma.  Cristy Hughes of Watertown, Massachusetts; Amy Papandrea & Husband Chris of Cypress, Texas; Dawn Perrin & Husband Lito of Cypress,Texas; Numerous Great Grandkids, Nieces & Nephews.

Graveside service to be at 1pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma at Rush Springs Cemetery across from park and services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
